With tensions running high at the Ukraine boarder National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, urges Americans to leave. He says that civilians could die in a Russian invasion.

Sullivan says, ” Any American in Ukraine should leave as soon as possible, and in any event the next 24 to 48 hours. We obviously cannot predict the future, we don’t know exactly what’s going to happen. But the risk is now high enough and the threat is now immediate enough that this is what prudence demands.”

Moscow has repeatedly denied that an invasion is in the works, and Sullivan added that it’s not clear if Putin has decided to invade Ukraine.

Leaders from around the world, including President Biden discussed the situation during a call Friday morning.
