Today, Dr. Brent Blue, the coroner in charge of Gabby Petito’s autopsy held a press conference. In the conference, he said that her cause of death was strangulation, confirming Petito died of a homicide. He also noted that her body was likely in the wilderness for three to four weeks before it was discovered.
Blue declined to say what condition her body was in due to local laws. The prime person of interest is Gabby’s fiancé, Brian Laundrie, who has gone missing since her death and is still on the run.
