One of former President Trump's ex-aids spoke up on the past administration. Stephanie Grisham worked as a White House Press Secretary and she saw the direct effects of Trump's response to COVID-19.

“I think the president’s vanity got in the way. He was working for the base, he was not working for his country.” said Grisham. She also stated that she personally felt responsible for the ‘lies’ the administration told, all while enabling a lack of urgency that ultimately cost lives. After working under Trump for five years, Grisham claims she is worried to see him run in the 2024 election.
