The City Care Night Shelter in Oklahoma City is looking for volunteers.
“Our mission is to make the shelter very low barrier. So our goal is to make it very welcoming and a safe environment for everyone,” said Housing Navigator Emily Madison.
Established in April of 2021, the shelter has more than 125 beds and four family suites for the homeless. City Care also provides many resources, including supplying food, showers, laundry and even a pet hotel. You can find more information about volunteering at CityCareOKC.org.
