Early Voters in Texas Surpass 2016 Total Voting Turnout

The number of early voters in Texas has surpassed the total turnout from the 2016 general election.

Today is the last day of early voting in the lone star state.

Over the past three weeks, more than nine million ballots were cast.

Governor Greg Abbott extended early voting by a week due to the pandemic.

Registered voters in Texas jumped 12% since 2016 to almost 1.9 million people.
