The Griffin Park soccer fields completed phase three of construction this past weekend.
This latest update to the Norman Forward project includes an improved irrigation system and the construction of new restroom facilities and spectator seating.
The completion of phase three was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday featuring Mayor Brea Clark.
Norman Youth Soccer Association President Chrisy Fuentes says this project will enhance the soccer experience for players and their families. The Norman Forward initiative now turns its attention to phase four which is expected to be completed Summer 2021.
