The Coronavirus death toll has passed one million worldwide according to John Hopkins University. The first death was reported in Wuhan, China on January 11. Now, almost nine months later, that number has eclipsed one million. Twenty percent of deaths have been in the United States with nearly a total of 211,000. The U.S. is leading in both cases and deaths with Brazil not far behind. More than thirty-three million cases have been confirmed world-wide as outbreaks continue to plague numerous countries.
