In today’s press conference, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt updated Oklahomans on COVID-19 statistics in the state. Today, there were 1,101 new cases, along with two additional deaths due to COVID-19.
In addition, Stitt said one of the biggest hotspots for COVID-19 cases are in correctional facilities. To address this issue, Stitt said prison staff will be tested more frequently and staff in hot spots will see an increase in pay.
