The CDC removes their guideline saying that COVID-19 can be spread through airborne particles.
The CDC website was quietly updated with a new guideline Friday, stating that the virus can remain in the air and travel distances further than six feet, going against their previously published guidelines on the virus.
Today the CDC announced that the update was a mistake and went back to their previous statements on virus transmission. The CDC states that once they finish updating their recommendations they will make the update.
