A $121 million bond was passed at the Norman City Council Meeting.
The initial vote was supposed to happen on September 25th, but concerns from council members delayed the vote.
After weeks of learning the details all city council members voted in favor.
Most of the arguments highlighted how beneficial the new free standing emergency department next to highway 9 will be for the community

Behavioral Health Services, an ambulatory and cancer pavilion, are also part of the Healthplex expansion.
