Oklahoma Police Chief Dies after Altercation in Florida

[PENSACOLA, FL]- An investigation near Pensacola Beach, FL is underway after a physical altercation left an Oklahoma Police Chief dead.

Lucky Miller, 44, was found dead in a Hilton Hotel Sunday night by Escambia County Sheriff’s responding to a call regarding a physical altercation.

The ESCO in Florida says Michael Nealey, another law enforcement officer, was arrested Monday morning. He is being held in the county jail with no bond. Nealey is being charged with homicide.

Miller served as the police chief in Mannford since 2007. Jerry Ridley is stepping in as interim police chief.

ESCO says the two were in Florida for a law-enforcement related conference.
