President Donald Trump has demanded all remaining U.S. Troops in Northern Syria to move out.
This is raising concerns about a possible resurgence of ISIS, as the U.S relationship with the Kurds was a long-standing, anti-terrorist relationship.
Now, Turkish forces, who consider the Kurds a Terrorist organization, are launching attacks on the Kurdish-occupied region of Northern Syria. This is in an effort to move the Kurds away from the border.
Abandoned by the U.S, the Kurds struck a deal with Syria, and Syrian troops are now confronting Turkish forces. Turkey claims Kurdish fighters released ISIS prisoners from a holding facility in Northern Syria, but U.S Officials say there is no evidence of this.
