The directors of the Black Emergency Response Team, BERT, sent out a message earlier this evening to alert students of a new blackface incident on OU’s campus.
In the alert, directors Miles Francisco and Jamelia Reed said,
“Dispite not having all the information, we are certain that our community is exhaused by such incidents of hate and ignorance.”
Interim OU President Joseph Harroz has been made aware of this, he condemned racism, and said it is not welcome on the OU campus according to the OU Daily.
