Military Funding Gutted

Funding for the wall at the Mexican-American border is coming from a fund least expected… Military projects.

3.6 million dollars of military funding is being gutted in order to help fund the infamous wall.

77 million of those dollars are coming from the US Navy’s Atlantic fleet in Virginia, which is the largest military base in the world.

Some projects that are projected to lose funding are a Naval ship maintenance facility, as well as a cyber operations facility.

Military operation funding makes up 40 percent of the region’s economy, and with a struggle to find proper government funding for the wall, the government has looked to dip into military spending to carry out the construction of the wall.
