Norman is gaining a new roastery passionate about animals

There’s a new business in Norman that’s grinding to open its doors. Located on East Tonhawa Street sits the Yellow Dog Coffee Company, a roastery passionate about coffee and animals.

12% of profits are donated to Annie’s Rescue Foundation, a nonprofit founded by owners of Yellow Dog Coffee, Rob and Sereta Williams.

The rescue foundation partners with the Norman Animal Welfare Center to help assist with medical needs that exceed the per dog budget.

“And if it exceeds that budget then they might have a problem with that dog or the Angel Foundation or the Annie’s Rescue Foundation supplements the cost of those treatments so the dog can be rescued and and saved.” -Rob Wilson, owner and head roaster

The roastery opens next Friday.
