A global effort to fight the Amazon Forrest fires is underway.
Leonardo Dicaprio has pledged five-million-dollars for relief, and even the leaders of the G7 are promising to help contain the flames.
Protests broke out at Brazilian embassies in Madrid, London, Berlin and Copenhagen which led to Brazil’s president, Jair Bolsonaro, sending troops to douse the blaze.
It’s reported that a Forrest area the size of Yellowstone national park has been lost between January first to August first.
