Winners are Announced for Hideaway Pizza’s 4th Annual TEACHER APPIZZIATION

Hideaway Pizza has selected 19 teachers as the winners of Hideaway Pizza’s 4th Annual TEACHER APPIZZIATION contest.

The 19 winners were selected by region, and voted on by each region’s staff at the restaurant in the region.  The staff did not have identifying information on the entrants, just the nomination reasons.  The winners include teachers and support staff currently employed in grades PreK through 12, at schools in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

The winners will each receive a $600 Hideaway Pizza gift card, (enough dough to buy one small pizza every week for a year), a certificate and a Hideaway Pizza box full of Hideaway Pizza gear.

Last year the company received almost 800 nominations, and ultimately surprised 12 teachers with their awards and prize packages totaling over $7,500. This year they will be giving out over $11,000 in awards.

“Being able to help bring recognition to those who perform the most essential services to our children is one thing that we are proud of doing with our Teacher Appizziation Awards,” Janie Harris, Marketing Director for Hideaway Pizza said.
