The Diversity Enrichment Program opened applications for the 2019-2020 intern team today.
The DEP wants students who have an interest in recruitment of under-represented populations to OU. Applicants should be a full time OU student, have an cumulative college retention GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate leadership abilities and campus involvement.
Once selected, interns would be involved in the recruitment process of future students from under-represented communities.
“Prospective students want to hear from current students,” says Kayla Storrs, Admissions and Recruitment Employee. “Current students who are speaking on their experiences and who are encouraging prospective students they are what sell this university. They are going to be the key between whether or not that student makes that ultimate decision to choose the University of Oklahoma as their college home.”
The application is open on Org-Sync through March 25th, and interviews will take place April 10-12.
