White House denies oversight committee’s request for security clearance papers

The White House has recently rejected a demand from the House oversight committee to turn over security clearance document for some of the President’s advisors.

The documents that are being requested are the security clearance procedures for some of the president’s closest advisors such as his daughter Ivanka Trump, and son-in-law Jared Kushner. House Oversight chairman Elijah Cummins says he will likely issue a subpoena if he does not receive the documents.

The White House has said they have no comment on the matter.
