OU recently has been no stranger to budget cuts. The residential colleges’ dining halls have had to reduce employee hours as well as modify the hours of operation, leaving only one of the two dining halls open.
The most recent cuts have some student employees in the residential colleges wondering what could be next.
“They’re just upset because obviously their hours are being cut, not being paid as much that type of thing, having to work over in different positions and different places, so quick adjustments people have to make but nobody’s satisfied with it,” says Isiah Irby, President of Headington College Council.
A few of the student employees have already made the seamless transition.
