Hurricane Florence is currently forecasted to make landfall Thursday afternoon bringing:
- Life-threatening storm surge is likely along portions of the coastlines of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
- Life-threatening freshwater flooding from a prolonged and exceptionally heavy rainfall event well inland of where Florence makes landfall
- Damaging hurricane-force winds likely along portions of the coasts of South Carolina and North Carolina.
- Large swells and dangerous rip currents across the eastern seaboard.
