Norman-Okla. Sep. 13, 2016 – Super star Flo Rida to headline first ever Homecoming Bash.

The performer has sold over 80 million records worldwide and will headline the new event Homecoming Bash. Mike Posner will also take the stage as a main performer. His summer hit “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” received over 600 million streams. BET’s Newcomer of the Year nominee, Tinashe joins the impressive line-up along with “Don’t Mind” artist, Kent Jones. Also joining the festival, platinum recording artist, JoJo.

The purpose of Homecoming has been to bring people together. It is with our spirit of unity that we proudly announce Homecoming Bash. Perhaps no event presents a collective unifying experience better than a concert. Moreover, this show is the first Homecoming event created with absolutely no competitive facet.

All students, regardless of their association with any on-campus organization or lack thereof, are welcome to be a part of this new tradition. This event requires no practicing, no pomping, no painting, no sketching, only a willingness to join in the Homecoming celebration. Homecoming this year seeks not only to expand the opportunities and resources available to competing student groups, but also to provide new avenues for all students and alumni to connect with one of campus’ oldest traditions.

Homecoming Bash 2016 is a collaborative effort between the University of Oklahoma Campus Activities Council and KJ103. The concert features 5 artists: Flo Rida, Mike Posner, Tinashè, JoJo, and Kent Jones. Doors will open at 6:00 at the Lloyd Noble Center on Wednesday, October 28. Tickets are available Wednesday, September 14th at and are only $18 for OU students and $35 for the general public.
