Boren Comments on Posters Found in Gaylord Hall

By Gloria Noble | Senior Web Editor

These posters were placed in Gaylord between late Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

After being taken down by the janitorial staff, more were found my journalism professors in the building.

As of 7:45 p.m. CDT Tuesday, President David Boren via email contact with Press Secretary Corbin Wallace has responded via statement to the posters:

“I do not have any comment to make except to say the university is a place that believes in the first amendment right of free speech.”

The origins of the posters have not be found, and the security footage of the building through the weekend as been requested.
If anyone knows any information regarding the posters, or any reaction related to the pictures, please tweet at @ounightly.
As soon as more information is available, it will be posted to our website.
