Oklahoma ID Errors

By Dylan Jasna | Reporter

NORMAN, OK – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety warns some licenses and ID cards may have incorrect or missing hologram security images.

Officials at DPS urge the public to check their ID’s for hologram placement.

Holograms in various positions should show on the front of the document.

If you have an error on your license, you can go to the state tag agency where the document was issued to get a correction free of charge.

Licenses and ID cards with incorrect or missing images are still valid, but will likely cause delays in airports, banks and federal buildings.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the DPS Driver License Help Desk at (405) 425-2020.
