OUTV Sports’ Stephen Cabler sat in on the Stoops press conference after the Clemson matchup on New Year’s Eve. The Oklahoma HC said the issues were on both sides of the ball and in the end Clemson was able to run the ball more efficiently.

Stoops said earlier in the week that the team that was able to run the ball the most consistently would have the best chance to win the game, and in the press conference he mentioned it again. The 16-year Oklahoma coach said he was correct because that is what happened during the game.

The Sooners head coach congratulated Clemson on its performance during the game in the press conference.

The Sooners fell to Clemson for the second post-season bowl game in a row. Oklahoma faltered in the second half and was shutout while Clemson was fired up.

Zack Sanchez has decided to declare for the 2016 NFL Draft and seniors Charles Tapper, Devonte Bond, Eric Striker among others finished their final season with Oklahoma.

Sooners seem eager to get back to work, as shown in tweets by Joe Mixon and other players.
