Saturday night the Oklahoma football team racked up a huge win.
They took down the sixth ranked Baylor Bears in Waco, where Baylor had not lost in their last 20 home games.
Let’s start in the second quarter, Sooners up one and QB Baker Mayfield delivers a long pass just as he gets hit. It’s complete to Sterling Shepard for the 39-yard touchdown and the Sooners are up six points.
In the third quarter, Sooners up a touchdown and RB Samaje Perine breaks through the line and outruns the Baylor defense. Perine stiff armed on the 55-yard score and that gives the Sooners a two score lead.
Then with Oklahoma up 10 points with under 5 minutes left, Baylor QB Jarrett Stidham throws it downfield and its intercepted by Ahmad Thomas for the clincher.
Sooner jump back on Baylor after two straight losses in this matchup, 44-34.
