Defensive End Charles Tapper was named a Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Week after his performance against Kansas on Saturday.

Tapper had two sacks and two forced fumbles.

The senior defensive end was able to disrupt the Jayhawk QB, Ryan Willis, through out the game.

Tapper had a strong game against West Virginia with 8 total tackles, but has not had a stand out game since then until traveling to Lawrence this past weekend.

The Sooners host the Iowa State Cyclones this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.

Oklahoma strongly owns the series against Iowa State. The overall record is 72-5-2. Iowa State claimed its last victory in 1990. The Sooners have won the last sixteen meetings.
