Big 12 News: TCU v. West Virginia and Baylor could falter

Last night was a Big 12 matchup between TCU and West Virginia. However, the game turned out to be the Trevone Boykin show.

We will start in the first as Boykin scrambles left and flips over a defender for the score. Then a Heisman play in the third from the Great Boykin, making three defenders miss in open space.

Even West Virginia Head Coach Dana Holgersen appreciated the play, giving the TCU QB a high-five.

Frogs win it 40-10.

The Sooners meet the Horned Frogs in Norman in early November. Last season, TCU ran away with the victory by four points, 33-37.

The Baylor Bears received hard news this week, starting QB Seth Russell will spend the rest of the season on the bench due to a neck injury.

The Bears have freshman Jarrett Stidham. Who will take command of the offense for the rest of the season. He doesn’t have much experience but has plenty of talent around him.

Baylor is off this week, but then are on the road against Kansas State and then take on three straight ranked opponents. Then playing OU, Oklahoma State on the road and then the big one for the Bears at TCU.

The Sooners will travel to Waco to face the Bears on November 14. Baylor came to Norman last year to steamroll Oklahoma, 48-14. Since then, the Sooners have seen changes in starting players.
