The trio was back on Monday night dressed up for Halloween, but still Ashley Davis, Haley Hughey and Mason Prince were ready to talk Sooner sports after a strong weekend for more than one Oklahoma team.

The Sooners sent a message this past Homecoming weekend against Texas Tech, as Samaje Perine told Mason Prince the offense is growing each game and is only getting started. The offense racked up 617 total yards and nine touchdowns. RB Joe Mixon and RB Samaje Perine are able to be interchangeable during the game as Mixon is finding his footing as a Sooner these past few weeks.

The Sooners are currently fourth in the Big 12 for total offense.

The defense made large gains Saturday afternoon in Norman as Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes threw four interceptions. Those four interceptions accounted for 33 yards. LB Eric Striker returned his first interception as a Sooner, taking it to the three yard line. The interception would later be a touchdown by Perine.

QB Baker Mayfield met up with his former team for the first time in Norman this past weekend, but had the rest of his team to take him through this emotional game. Eric Striker finished the game with his first interception, Samaje Perine finished with four touchdowns, four sacks and ran for 201 yards and freshman Mark Andrews added another touchdown to his list.

Perine was also named Big 12 Player of the Week.

The OU Women’s Soccer team won against Texas this past weekend a tied with the Horned Frogs. The Sooners play Oklahoma State this Friday for Bedlam weekend. The game is set to start at 7:00 p.m.

Senior forward Liz Keester spoke to Sooner Sports Pad’s Bijan Hosseini about transferring back to her home state after two years with the Aggies.
