Linebacker Eric Striker had a good week, but for reasons some Sooner fans might not be able to guess.

Striker said he believes he wrote the best paper he has ever written. Striker compared Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover, and who was the better leader in history. From his research, he was able to come to the conclusion in which he would not want a leader who followed the rules all the time.

The OU Clock Tower was a direct result of the WPA or the Works Progress Administration which enabled people to have jobs.

It has been an enjoyable week for Striker, writing this paper and because FDR is his favorite president.

Striker and his teammates face Texas Tech this weekend in Norman. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. The Sooners traveled to Lubbock last season and defeated the Red Raiders, 42-30. QB Baker Mayfield will see his former team in Norman for the first time since transferring after his freshman year.
