Defensive End Charles Tapper and Linebacker Jordan Evans are ready for their next test against Kansas State this weekend. Although the Sooners finished last weekend with a disappointing loss to unranked Texas, Oklahoma is ready to beat Kansas State with the Wildcat mentality.
Tapper said it will be an exciting game for the team, as he hopes the team will take a lot of opportunities to make plays. Tapper said if the team is able to go out and dominate Kansas State up front and use the same strength against them, it will make for a fun game.
Evans said it is known that the Wildcats are a disciplined team, but to be able to match their attitude, the Sooners are going to have to be disciplined and physical right back to them.
Oklahoma travels to Manhattan Friday for a Saturday 2:30 p.m. kickoff against the Kansas State Wildcats. The Sooners met K-State last season in Norman and the Wildcats slid past Oklahoma to take the win 31-30.
