The Oklahoma Sooners found a way to take down the West Virginia Mountaineers this past Saturday in Norman.

It was another impressive performance by Baker Mayfield who threw for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns, against a good West Virginia pass defense.

On the first drive, Mayfield back in the pocked stepped up and looked over the middle to a wide open Mark Andrews (#81) for 17 yards and the Sooners first score.

Then RB Joe Mixon got into the running game. This was his first rushing touchdown of his OU career. He went 35 yards to put the Sooners up 24-7 before the half.

The game began to get tight in the second half as the Sooners were only up by 3.

But another highlight for the win against the Mountaineers was when Mayfield pump faked left and fins a wide open Durron Neal , streaking down the sidelines to put the Sooners up by 10.

The Sooners meet Texas in Dallas this Saturday for an 11 a.m. kickoff.
