The Oklahoma Sooners are preparing to use West Virginia as a good starting pace for the rest of conference play. Coach Mike Stoops thinks the Mountaineers have a good setup and it will be a good team to match up against. Lineman Eric Stricker said the games against West Virginia are a fight to the finish, he sums it up by calling these games wars, to be able to describe how much work will be put into them. Safety Steven Parker said this type of offense will be a good indicator for games to come, because Baylor and TCU will mimic this strategy.
The Sooners meet West Virginia in Norman for a 11 a.m. kickoff at Owen Field.
